Bringing a Nordic perspective to newsrooms across Europe in 2026

Swevi is exploring demand in Europe for professionally translated journalistic content by offering articles for selected print and digital media channels in early 2026.

The articles are written in Swedish or Finnish by Finnish journalists Maria Kesti and Pontus Anckar, and translated into the respective target languages. The intention is that each article is published by one publisher per country.

We hope that the articles will bring a fresh Nordic perspective to newsrooms and offer readers an opportunity to explore new topics. More generally, we are looking for ways to capitalise on journalistic expertise from different countries with the assistance of professional translation services. We are also investigating the interest of newsrooms in other countries in commissioning reports on phenomena and events in Finland.

Other text services:

Articles and web content
Want to create new articles and web content but not sure where to start? Why not let our copywriter help. The copywriter can interview your sources (between Turku and Helsinki or elsewhere by arrangement) or start from a draft if you have one.

Copywriting & translation packages
We can also provide new text, including language versions, at a favourable price. For example, if you have a website in Swedish, Finnish and English and need to create new pages or make updates, we can write the new text in Swedish and also provide the Finnish and English versions.

Book editing services
If you are a team of authors planning to publish a book, why not get in touch to find out about the book editing, proofreading and translation services we can offer. Among other things, we have developed a working method based on our previous book projects to help you economise on resources and provide structure to the project.
